The novelty of being in charge of the remote control quickly wore off when I found there isn't a lot I want to watch on TV! But then I realised I could also use the iPad whenever I wanted - and it has become a great source of creative inspiration for me. We are so lucky in this world of technology to be in touch so easily with inspirational people around the world - and that there are so many people willing to share their creations with us.
As you know I have been enjoying Joanne Sharpe's online doodle writing courses, and watch a video lesson in an evening if I have nothing to do, and then play music on my ipad while I draw and do the lesson - that is a lovely, fun, relaxing evening! There are so many free YouTube video tutorials to watch too, some lovely galleries and Pinterest to peruse. And quotes galore!
Have you discovered any good sites to explore? Or some good online lessons, free or paid. Perhaps you could comment below and share any good ones.
There is so much information and knowledge online, but also a lot of games and social media sites to distract us. I wonder if once the novelty of having an ipad or similar device wears off, is gaining knowledge or distraction the main use of them for you? Perhaps just a nice mixture of the two.
Love and smiles,
